The guide is supposed to be released around the 16th. Kind of pisses me off as EB's website reported today as the shipping date.

Those books are just plain rip-offs as far as I am concerned... its $30 Canadain for one of those -not worth it when I know and I can get great info from forums like this one...

They are especially worthless for games such as Guild Wars, because it is ALWAYS changing.

one of my friends got one for WoW cause it came with something and it was cool just to read about areas but within a month the spells were all wrong and lvl reqs. were wrong. and so many things had gotton added it was pointless. only thing that would be usefull maybe is the quest guide but why even play the game if you have a thing to walk you through. it is just a waist of your time then

I used to get guides, but I only read them when I wasn't playing the game and had nothing better to do...
It was fun, but I eventually decided to broaden my life ^^ (no disrespect to people that choose to game to that degree, I was one of you)

Currently slated for May 18th in stores, 19.99US. I do believe the fine folks at ArenaNet keep adding quests, but the maps to the collectors/trainers probably won't change much...

Some quests are very very hard the guide would sure help. if it atleast gave me an idea of where my objectives are then it's worth my money.. The green arrow on my radar just tells me the direction, not how far i am from where i'm going.
